Teri Galleries is once again proud to present brand new Milo Miniatures! These are a must-see for any collector of Milo’s amazing artwork. Although these pieces only range in size from 2.25 x 3.25 inches to 4.25 x 4.25 inches, they definitely do not lack in detail or character. Milo’s miniatures force the viewer to stop for a second from the craziness of life, and take a closer look, at her work in particular, and smile at her characters.
“Painting to me is about experimentation of mediums textures and styles. Like the many characteristics of my personality, I have many different styles that I love to explore.” – Milo
Below are the four new Milo Miniatures we have received at Teri Galleries, and hopefully will receive new Originals from Milo soon:
 Games Squirrels Play by Milo
 Knock, Knock by Milo
 Window Shopping by Milo
 Wise Guy by Milo

Collectors,
It is a pleasure to unveil the latest round of paintings by Louisiana artist – Milo. Her bird series captures a fleeting moment in nature and provides the viewer the opportunity to observe and connect with beautiful creatures as they ‘pause’ momentarily on the canvas. An expressive painter, Milo’s pieces seem to reflect a subtle spiritual side through illuminating colors, radiant figures and strong use of shadows.
“Painting to me us about experimentation of mediums, textures and styles,” states Milo. “I am a very emotional painter and to put brush to canvas means that I am exposing something about myself, perhaps a deeper part of myself that longs to be expressed.”
Milo recently finished a commission for a local software CEO who wanted an entire collection of Milo’s bird paintings to fill a wall in the company’s corporate office. “I was instantly attracted to Milo’s birds,” comments CEO Bondilyn Jolly. “The realism and mood each bird conveys feels almost human.” Milo worked with Jolly to expand one of her paintings into an entire series that creates a stunning, seamless effect across a large area of her office. “Milo instantly understood the concept I was looking to achieve and came back to me with a series of paintings that exceeded my imagination,” adds Jolly. “Her dedication to capturing authentic details and depth on the canvas makes her work a a true pleasure.”

Mickey Asche has been hard at work in his studio and has created some of best work yet. Mickey captures the essence of these beautiful, winged animals and creates an environment right there for you to see. The detail created by Asche is really something to behold.
“To attempt to capture the beauty on canvas was, and continues to be, a childhood dream come true.”
-Mickey Asche
Mickey’s latest pieces were created to show at the Louisiana Sportsman Show in Gonzales, LA March 9th through 11th. These pieces will be available for us as well and if you are interested in these new pieces from Louisiana Artist Mickey Asche, please contact the gallery at 504-887-8588 or via email at info@terigalleries.com.

First we are happy to announce that Milo has been accepted as an Associate member of American Women Artists. This non-profit organization is sponsored by some of the well known names in the art world such as The American Art Collector, Fine Art Connoisseur, Faso, and the Scottsdale Artists School. As always we are not surprised by her achievements, but we are always very proud of her.
Her new pieces are not only full of texture, but are a wonderful reflection of her personality, which is both playful and motivated.
They give the viewer a picture to a story that the viewer is left to create. In “Ladies Choice” the female cardinal’s distant gaze gives no hint to whom she is going to select. It is left up to us to judge, debate, and choose. It is curious that the “Raven’s” gaze is directed above him. As a scavenger bird, one has to wonder what does he see above him that has caused him to have such an intense stare?
The pieces are original oils and decoupage, which give them a wonderful almost aged texture. Check them out, as well as all of her other amazing works of art!
