Teri Galleries proudly presents new original pieces by MATT LITCHLITER and MILO!

February 3rd, 2012

Litchliter’s – “L’esprit de Carnaval”
The Long Awaited NEW Litchliter is here, and it is even more than expected!
Matt Litchliter’s new Mardi Gras piece “L’esprit de Carnaval” celebrates Carnival.

We are so excited to finally present Matt Litchliter’s Mardi Gras piece, and the detail in it is absolutely outstanding.

Matt has captured one of those precious things that make Mardi Gras special in New Orleans. His highly decorated character orchestrates the celebration of carnival, and mesmerizes us with his dress. It is apparent that the man in the piece is very proud to have on his flashy and heavily decorated costume, believing that he is the handsomest one in the parade.

Matt has added gold leafing to this piece, not only adorning the head dress, but he has graciously also peppered it throughout. He did not skimp on the fine details either, even in the smallest parts he has filled with marks of a fine point brush. I have provided close up visuals of those details for you to see.

Unfortunately the original has already sold, but no real surprise there. However not to fret, there will be a small limited edition of giclees on canvas availale, of which will all be nicely hand embellished and gold leafed by Matt. It is also the first piece in a series of the Mardi Gras pieces to come through the years.

Milo’s – “Raven” and “Ladies Choice”

First we are happy to announce that Milo has been accepted as an Associate member of American Women Artists. This non-profit organization is sponsored by some of the well known names in the art world such as The American Art Collector, Fine Art Connoisseur, Faso, and the Scottsdale Artists School. As always we are not surprised by her achievements, but we are always very proud of her.

Her new pieces are not only full of texture, but are a wonderful reflection of her personality, which is both playful and motivated. They give the viewer a picture to a story that the viewer is left to create. In “Ladies Choice” the female cardinal’s distant gaze gives no hint to whom she is going to select. It is left up to us to judge, debate, and choose. It is curious that the “Raven’s” gaze is directed above him. As a scavenger bird, one has to wonder what does he see above him that has caused him to have such an intense stare?

“Painting to me is about experimentation of mediums textures and styles. Like the many characteristics of my personality, I have many different styles that I love to explore.” Milo feels that, as a painter, this gives her work balance. Milo’s goal for each piece is to put what is in her head and within her heart on the canvas, but her challenge with each piece is to capture the feeling of her vision in the painting so the viewer experience what she feels and can relate to her on an emotional level. “I learned that painting could unlock trapped emotions and that even my worst paintings were lessons that would lead me to something special.” Milo work is indeed leading her to special places.

Sabzi Originals on Sale Now

January 19th, 2012

Teri Galleries is proud to announce new Sabzi originals are available. Sabzi is an extraordinary artist who’s pieces are even more extraordinary. Sabzi’s subjects are almost always women, beautiful, graceful, taciturn and lugubrious, they reflect solitude. His women are Madonna’s, modern goddesses, and martyred saints whose elongated form suggest instability and internal conflict. Their anonymous faces transform then into religious icons that transcend and defy the demands of reality. Yet, other paintings reflect warmth, charm, gayety, happiness, and his undisputed love and admiration for women.

The new originals we have received are:
Enchanted Forest - Original on Canvas – 36 x 48
Amorous Anticipation - Original on Canvas – 24 x 20
Reunion TimeOriginal on Canvas – 30 x 40
Celebration of the MomentOriginal on Canvas – 30 x 24
Soft September - Original on Canvas – 48 x 16

Teri Galleries is very excited to offer and display these new pieces by Sabzi to you.

“My artistic inspiration, the very basis of form and color for my work, comes from my childhood memories of Persian rugs designed and weaved by my mother. As I watched her for hours creating gorgeous patterns, hues and textures, her fingers dancing across the loom, the designs and shapes of my current work took form. My creations flow from the same source of energy and creativity that inspired my mother.” - Sabzi

Exclusive New Toby Bluth Disney Artwork

January 17th, 2012

Teri Galleries is proud to announce new Disney Originals by Disney artist Toby Bluth. These originals are exclusive to Teri Galleries. Walt Disney was a man who had an amazing ability to inspire other people to do remarkable creative achievements. Toby Bluth happens to be one of those shining gems of talent that to this day draws inspiration from the life and work of Walt Disney. “Creating the moment that you think you saw…” is how Toby Bluth describes his approach in conceiving each one of his watercolor masterpieces. Believing that how one remembers a film is often different from the actual film itself, Toby paints what he perceives as the collective memory of a film experience and taps into the emotional essence of the story. These new Disney Originals, exclusive to Teri Galleries, are indeed great additions to Bluth’s masterful collection of watercolor memories of great Disney movies.

“A Friend to a Fellow” is a 11.5 x 14.5 amazing watercolor on Arches paper.

“Little Hiawatha” is a 12 x 14.75 beautiful watercolor on Arches paper.

We here at Teri Galleries are greatly appreciative to be able to offer you these gorgeous Disney Originals by Toby Bluth to you.

Moon Gazers 20 x 30Disney Artist Rodel Gonzalez had new Disney originals available at Teri Galleries, Ltd. Teri Galleries, Ltd. is the only exclusive dealer in Disney Fine art in the area. From Disney & Pixar’s “Finding Nemo”, Gondalez has captured Dory & Marlin in search of Nemo in “Dory & Marlin” as well as Nemo’s trip with the sea turtles in “Turtle Wisdom”. Rodel has also captured Mickey & Minnie as well as Donald, Goofy & Pluto in these stunningly rich environments that he creates.

When asked about his latest works for the Disney Fine Art portfolio, Rodel has said, “Having the opportunity to create Disney paintings is such a treat because Disney was definitely part of my childhood. I remember watching my first Disney films “Bambi” and “Snow White” and ever since I’ve been mesmerized by the succeeding Disney movies I’ve seen. I believe a painting is a mirror of the painter’s understanding of an insight he has. The Disney paintings each involved such a strong concept that every brushstroke was a joyful anticipation of the finished product. The energy was very strong therefore my intentions were sure and refined. I would say that there was a lot of grace present on every painting”.
These painting are now available but will go fast.
